The band explains, "Making it in this business is like a roll of the dice, luck of the draw, or karma for that matter. Moira, with a change of spelling, means just that and it stuck!"
'Moyra' originally began with duo Ehme (vocals), and Dominic (guitar/bass), and their friend Jason Brace (guitar/engineer). Unfortunately, Jason Brace lived on the road as a sound tech for bands such as 'Evanescence', 'Sick Puppies', 'Mary J. Blige'. and more. and as his schedule grew busier, he had to exit his project with 'Moyra'.
Already, 'Moyra' had gained an interest from the public, and the duo had to find new members in order to maintain their following.
'Moyra' gained new members, Jason Carey (guitar) and Jessy Dougherty (drums) and have banded together to reconstruct the original music as well as write new material.
